Obituary for Mr. Willie Bobbitt
Mr. Willie Lee Bobbitt, son of the late Mr. Bradley R. Bobbitt and Mrs. Maggie N. Sinclair Bobbitt was born October 10, 1935 in St. Paul, N.C. He departed this earthly life on July 20, 2021 at the Hock Family Pavilion.
Willie was a native of Roberson County, N.C. He moved to Durham at an early age and attended Durham City School. He joined Greater Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church where he enjoyed singing with the male chorus. He was employed at Goldkist Poultry for many years until his retirement.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents, one sister; Lorena Bobbitt, and three brothers; Edward Bobbitt, Braxton Bobbitt, and Preston Bobbitt all of Durham, N.C.
He leaved to cherish his memory two sister; Lee Ella Bobbitt, Annie L. Hayes all of Durham, N.C., two brothers; Freddie Bobbitt, Ronnie Bobbitt all of Durham, N.C., one sister-in-law; Patricia Bobbitt of M.D., and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
