Obituary

On Thursday, January 24th, God whispered in the ear of Virgiline Beatrice Suitt Fuller, "Take your rest". She went peacefully home to be with her Lord.
Born to Claude and Beatrice Wolfe-Suitt, "Virge" as she was affectionately called by her loved ones, was born in Durham, NC.
She relocated to Baltimore, Maryland and this is where she built lifelong friendships and made a home for herself and her husband, William "Bill" Fuller . After relocating back to Durham, North Carolina, she lived out the final years of God's promise to her.

With deep compassion and care, she served as a teacher's assistant for several years at William Pinderhuges Elementary School in Baltimore, Maryland until her retirement.

Born into a family of believers, she first came to know the Lord as a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Durham, NC. After moving to Baltimore, Maryland she joined New Shiloh Baptist Church and most recently became a member of Zion Baptist Church also in Baltimore, Maryland.

When she wasn't enjoying fresh crabs and other seafood, you could always find Virge dancing, shopping or traveling...namely cruising the seas with her closest friends.

Waiting for her at Heaven's Gate will be her parents, Claude and Bea, husband Bill, brother Claude Suitt, nephew Milton "Steve" Satterfield and her best friend Martha Winston.

Perhaps those that will miss her most and remember her with the warmest memories are her sister Rebecca (Harry) Gray and nieces Anita (James) Satterfield Torian and Sha"Torria S. Torian who cared for her so lovingly in her final years, her brother James (Nay Ruth) Suitte, sister-in-law Sophia Suitt, niece Renee (William) Keyes, nephews Anthony (Rhonda) Satterfield, James (Janice) Suitte, cousin Carolyn Carrington, and her dear goddaughters Karen, Rhonda and Jackie. She is also survived by her great nieces and nephews and "god" grandchildren".

We are grateful to God for the care she received at Riverview Rehab and Health Center in Essex, Maryland and Pruitt Health, Pruitt Health and Hospice of Durham, NC. From stories about her stiletto heels and leopard print outfits to recalling memories of her favorite music, she made such a lasting impression on her team of caregivers.
