Obituary for Tyrone Brandon "TJ" Nelson, Jr.
Tyrone affectionately known as “Ty” was a happy going person born to Keisha Thorpe and Tyrone Nelson Sr. Tyrone departed his life on June 30, 2019 in Burlington NC. Tyrone was born in Durham NC, he attended Person High School and he loved sports, especially the team Duke.
On September 5, 2017 God allowed Tyrone to bring in his beautiful daughter Nyla Jones with her mother Alexus Jones. He will be truly missed by all that loved him.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Keith Brandon.
He is survived by his loving parents, KeishaThorpe (Ledonis) of Timberlake, NC and Tyrone Nelson Sr. (Shamiera) of Durham, NC; one loving daughter; Nyla Jones (Alexus) of Durham, NC; Five loving sisters, Takira Thorpe of Roxboro, NC, Zikeyona Thorpe, Tatania Nelson of Timberlake, NC, and Jakhiyah Dunston of Wake Forrest, NC; two Grandmothers, Connie Holloway of Roxboro, NC and Rebecca Nelson (Kenny) of Durham, NC; one grandfather, Allen Jones of Durham, NC and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Family and Friends.
