Shelia Marie Thompson, 67. Born April 21th, 1952 to Thomas and Mary Thompson. She was called to her eternal resting place on Sunday December 8th, 2019. Shelia lived in Chapel Hill, North Carolina for many years before moving to Durham, North Carolina.
Shelia was educated at Lincoln Middle School and Merrice Moore High School in Durham, North Carolina. Shelia was a cook and has cooked in many places throughout her life. She cooked for more than 30 years but was known in Durham from Current Cafeteria. Her smile, charm, and personality touched everyone she met.
Shelia was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and four brothers.
Shelia leaves to cherish her memory her husband Earl Flamer; sons, Ronnie, Lendrell (Teresa) and Mario Thompson; daughters, Brenda Higgins (Webb) and Lenetta Thompson; and grandchildren, Kendrell and Camilya Thompson of the home. She also leaves to cherish her memory thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
