Sheila Baines Streater, youngest daughter of the late Fred and Bessie Baines, was born on August 31, 1962, in Durham, NC. She peacefully entered eternal rest on Wednesday, December14, 2022, at Duke University Medical Center after an extended illness.
Sheila was educated in the Durham Public School System and graduated from Southern High School in 1980. Upon graduation, she married her high school sweetheart, Jack Streater, Jr., and to this union two sons were born. Sheila and Jack were married for 38 years until his death in 2018. Sheila accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age and loved the Lord with all her heart.
