Obituary for Robert Darrell "Peanut" Taylor, Jr
Robert Darnell Taylor Jr. was born on June 3rd, 1997 to Robert Darrell Taylor Sr. and Prophetess Ilean N. Taylor. Robert departed this earthly life on August 15, 2019 in Durham, NC.
Robert graduated from Hillside High School, those who knew him, referred to him as “Peanut.” He was a fun-loving, upbeat energetic more so laid-back kind of guy. Peanut had a heart for people, and he loved his family very much, he was a hard-working young man who never sat around to wait for any handouts. Peanut always had a way of making you laugh and bringing a smile to your face. Peanut was very talented and gifted in singing. He was rewarded for his singing ability through out school and sung for many communities and churches. Just being around Peanut gave you confidence to be yourself because he was always a positive and inspirational person. Peanut received Christ at an early age. Peanut was an anointed vessel of God who knew God and truly loved the Lord.
Robert is survived by his father, Robert D. Taylor Sr.; his mother, Prophetess Ilean N. Taylor; two sisters, Ilean C. Taylor (Timothy Wilson), Angela L. Taylor Hinkson (Roger F. Hinkson); three nephews, Timothy Taylor (Tyson Green Hill Taylor), Travon Taylor, Joshua Taylor; one niece, Imoni Taylor; one great niece, Aubery Taylor; five aunts, Bettyann Taylor, Gladys Jeffery, Priscilla Easley (Reginald Easley), Corrinda Cozart (Walter Cozart), Varria Jeffery; one uncle, Eric Jeffery (Robin Jeffery); and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
We will miss Peanut, and we love him very much. We hold Peanut close in our hearts. Loving memories will always linger in our hearts. Gone but not forgotten.
