Obituary for Mr. Ralph Alfonza Clark

Ralph Clark, the only son of MacBeauford and Ruth Clark was on born April 16, 1950 in Granville County North Carolina. He departed this life on January 16, 2020 at Toney Rest Home in Oxford, NC.

Ralph was a superb student from childhood until adulthood, excelling in all academic studies. He was educated in Granville County School Systems and graduated from Mary Potter High school in 1968. Later he attended the prestigious North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University where he graduated with honors obtaining a Bachelor’s of Art degree in History.

Ralph became an educator in Granville County School Systems and taught social studies at Hawley Middle School in Creedmoor, NC up until his retirement. He had a passion for helping students reach their highest potential.

Ralph Clark was married to the late Stella Cutts Clark with whom together shared two sons, Benjamin and David.

Ralph was an amusing entertainer and enjoyed hosting in his home. There was never a dull moment and he had the ability to help anyone find their sense of humor. Ralph was the master of meaningful and knowledgeable conversation. He has enlightened and inspired many people with his wisdom and charisma.

Ralph Clark is survived by his two sons, Benjamin Clark of Detroit, Michigan and David Clark of Raleigh, North Carolina; One grandson Aaron Clark of Los Angeles, CA. Two Aunts Jackie Sneed and Juanita Washington; One brother in law, Cornell Cutts (Paulette); and a host of cousins, relatives, and close friends.
