Obituary for Nigel Douglas Lamont Bradsher

Nigel Bradsher was one of our blessings on May 23, 2000. Anita Snow and Douglas Bradsher were blessed with an amazing set of twins, Aniya and Nigel Bradsher.

How do you tell a story on one page about a young man that was so amazing! From the moment Nigel entered this beautiful world he was a fighter. We were told nothing was wrong with him but little did we know the challenges he would face. He was injured during the delivery and he was only given a few days to live. Here we are 22 years later, he was a miracle! God can do anything but fail.

To experience him was to love him. Everyone that came in contact with him was touched in a special way. He was the most resilient, gracious, and humble spirit you would ever encounter.

With twelve years of education from the Durham County Public Schools, he excelled in all of classes. During all of his years of education he made so many great memories. He was a joy to all of his teachers and classmates. He enjoyed music, his favorite song was “I Feel Good”, by James Brown. He loved the Beach, sports and was a Carolina fan. Nigel also enjoyed holidays with his family and his daily dances with his Aunt Frances. At the beach one of his favorite thing so do was sleep, and listen to the waves. He enjoyed the little things.

Left to treasure his precious memories are: his parents, Anita Snow and Douglas Bradsher of Durham, NC; bonus Mom, Auntie Frances Oliver of Durham, NC three sisters; Aniya Bradsher of Durham, NC, Shaquera Satterfield of Roxboro, NC and Simone Cameron of Durham, NC, two brothers; Tyriq Burrus of Durham, NC and Shamar Bailey of Roxboro, NC. Grandparents; Louise Snow of Roanoke Rapids NC, Ellen Jones (William) of Roxboro, NC; five Aunts, Kiesha Williams of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Dee Darkes (Leroy) of Raleigh, NC, Michelle Purcell (Paul) of Roxboro, NC, Sherion Bradsher of Roxboro, NC, Danielle Peaks of Durham, NC; five Uncles, Andre’ Snow of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Lowell M Snow, Jr. of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Alexander Smith of Roxboro, NC, Kenneth Torain (Annie) of Roxboro, NC, Robert Williams (Christina) of Raleigh, NC; numerous wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Nigel joins both Grandfathers, Lowell M. Snow Sr. and Douglas F. Bradsher in eternal rest.
