Obituary for Mincey Denise Parrish
God saw fit to pick another rose from his garden. Sister Mincey Denise Parrish entered into eternal life at her home Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at the age of 54. Mincey was born in Durham County, North Carolina April 4, 1966 to the late Billy Parrish and Annie Jones Parrish.
Mincey was educated in the Durham County Public School system and was a graduate of Northern Durham High School class of 1984. Mincey joined the Red Mountain Baptist church at an early age and attended faithfully. Mincey’s employment span over the years was at McDonalds, Captain D’s, Kroger, Golden Corral and Dollar General. She really enjoyed meeting new people at her most recent place of employment Dollar General.
Mincey leaves to cherish her memories, her beloved son Brandon Christopher Parrish (Alissa Johnson) of Chapel Hill, NC; Brothers Billy Parrish, Jr., (Patricia) of Rougemont and Johnny Parrish of the home. Four loving granddaughters Aniyah and Layla Johnson and London and Paisley Parrish all of Chapel Hill, NC. Two Aunts Gertrude Parrish and Maggie Jones; One Uncle Joseph Parrish. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
