Ms. Marion Harris daughter of the late Clarise and Roy Harris was born September 6, 1952 in Durham North Carolina. The soul of our beloved Marion was called home on Monday, April 29, 2019. Marion attended the Durham County School system where she received her diploma from the great Hillside High School in 1970. She became a member of Union Baptist Church on September 7, 2003. Marion sung in the Women’s Corral and Voices of Union Choirs. Marion began working at the age of 12. She spent the majority of earthly life in a career in the textile and pharmaceutical industries. Her last and most enjoyable job was with United Therapeutics, where she made a lasting impression.
She is preceded in death by three siblings Patrick Roy Harris, Derrick Harris and Wanda Harris.
She also leaves two daughters Lana Y. Harris, Kimberly Smith and a very special son “BJ”.
She left her mark on her three very special grandchildren Romell D. Harris, Emerald A. Smith and Laya D. Jacobs who will miss her so dearly.
