Obituary for Ms. Linda Marie Burden

Linda Marie Burden, the daughter of the late Levi Cozart and Ethel Meta Quacco Burden was born July 12, 1964 in Durham North Carolina. Following a brief illness, Linda was called to eternal rest on Friday, April 8, 2022 in Durham, NC.

Linda had a love for people and often spoke and shared her faith with everyone she came in contact with. She was bubbly, kind, caring, loving, and full of excitement and encouragement. Linda cared deeply about the future of the children and youth she served. Three things for sure are that no one went hungry when Linda was around, she gave great hugs, and she made everyone feel extra special by her most famous loving words "Hey Bookie Boo."

She was born and raised with her family in Union Baptist Church in Durham, NC were she was an active member.

Linda will forever be remembered and cherished by those she leave behind her most beloved son, Michael D. Eubanks Jr of Durham, NC; her brothers and her sisters-in-law, Linwood (Rosalind) of Kingsland, GA and Michael (Sharron) of Durham, NC: first cousins, Gilbert Parham, Judy Parham, Sharon Parham, Mark Parham, Carl Parham, Luther Mitchell, Caroline Mitchell, and Sherri Mitchell; best friends and special cousins, Phyllis McDaniel, Lydia Clay, Mercedes Ervin, Raul Colinderes (known as Alex), Monica Wilcher, and Elisha Powell-Worthy. Linda also leaves an abundance of nieces, nephews, family, and friends she loved.
