Obituary for Ms. Linda Sue Brown
Linda Sue McCauley Brown, of Durham North Carolina was born on October 2, 1960, in Chapel Hill North Carolina, to the late Odessa McCauley Sr. and Genevia Parker Martin. She passed away on February 26, 2021 at her home.
Linda Graduated from Chapel Hill Senior High. She was a kind, quiet spirit, who loved and took care of any and all in her care. She has a smile that would light up a room, and a laugh that would brighten up anyone’s day. If you knew her, you knew she had to always have that Red lipstick on.
Linda was a faithful and hard worker for UNC Memorial Hospital, and a Dietary Supervisor until she retired after 30 years of service in February of 2019. Her passion was fishing, cooking and spending time with her kids/Family.
Linda was preceded in death by her father and mother, Odessa McCauley Sr. and Genevia Parker Martin, son Juluis Brown Jr,. Brothers Billy McCauley, and Larry McCauley; nephews, Tony Keel and Ricky MCCauley; grandparents, Dee Henry McCauley and Salina Fearrington McCauley.
Linda Leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Joseph Brown of the home; and one daughter Angela Brown (Mark) of Durham, NC; four brothers Bobby McCauley (Melissa), Pittsboro, NC, Danny McCauley, Durham, NC, Odessa McCauley Jr. of Maryland and Barry McCauley, Washington DC;one aunt, Michelle Thomas, Roxboro, NC four nephews, three nieces; 2 granddaughters, several great nieces and nephews as well as a host of other relatives
