Obituary for James Robert Farrington
Mr. James Farrington was born January 29, 1949 and departed this life on Thursday, March 14, 2019 after a brief illness at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC. He was the son of the late Garnett Farrington Roberts and Glenn Roberts. He was educated in the Chapel Hill public school system.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Somora Reade Farrington of Hillsborough, North Carolina; one son, Stevie (Cierra) Farrington of Detroit, Michigan; one daughter, Cherie Farrington of Hillsborough, North Carolina; two aunts, Ava Lewis of Norfolk, Virginia, Deloris Grice of Queens, New York; five grandchildren, KayShawn, Ke’Von, King, Rosie and Roshelle and a host of family and friends.
Special acknowledgement to his dear cousin, Betty Scott, who lovingly supported Somora during James’ illness.
