Mr. James Bryant of Durham, North Carolina was born on July 10, 1971, to the late Mozell Bryant.

“Jamie,” as he was affectionately known by his loving family and friends could always make you smile and laugh, and his loving spirit would take over the entire room. James Bryant was a native of Raleigh, North Carolina who graduated from Sanderson High School in 1989. He earned his Peer Support Certification in Mental Health Counseling and was passionate about hair and fashion design. Anyone who met Jamie fell in love with his personality and cherished every moment. His smile was contagious and made you feel loved abundantly. “Hey bae”, “miss girl”, “ok boo”, and “if you like I love it” will forever be in our hearts as a reminder of Jamie.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory, life partner, Courtney Griffin; a brother, Henry Bryant; two sisters, Tracy B. Lucas and Purtilla Brown; Loving cousins, Dianne Jones, Ta-Letta Saunders, Henry Bryant Jr. (Demetris), Nicole Shelton, and Tanisha Shelton; two aunts, Theresa Bryant and Elaine Bryant; two nieces, Dajiah Lucas and Briana Brown; two nephews, Michael Lucas II and Brandon Brown; a great niece, Alaia Brown, and a host of family and friends.
