Obituary for Dever Webb
Mr. Dever C. Webb was called home on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at the age of 78. He was born on June 9, 1940 in Granville County to the late Mozelle Webb Bass and Theodore Lyons.
He received his education in the Granville County School System and went on to become a city of Durham Public Works Professional. He was a rare combination of someone who had a love of life and a firm understanding of what was important – work and the simplicity of living a life with those you love.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, Bonnie L. Roberts, Betty L. Bass, Brenda F. Hawkins, Zella M. Hart; three brothers, Hubert S. Webb, John H. Webb, Norwood T. Bass.
Dever will be sorely missed. He is survived by: three sisters, Lynda Bass, Delonnia Bass, Margie Rea Manning all of Durham, NC; one brother, Randy Bass of Durham, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and one special friend, Lessie Carr.
