Obituary for Denise Rose Buie (Coleman)
Denise Rose Coleman Buie was a beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She left this world suddenly on August 3rd, 2022.
She was born to Cleveland Coleman and Doris Brown on August 2nd, 1953 in the South Bronx of New York. After graduating high school and attending two years of NYU, she joined the US Army. While serving in South Korea, she met her husband, Willie R. Buie. Together, they had 3 children: Jamal, LaKisha and Sonte.
Denise was an avid reader, music lover and trekkie. She loved spending time with her children. Whether it was taking them to library or just hanging out with her in her room. She also absolutely adored and loved being around her 3 grandchildren and spending time and holidays with the entire family.
