Obituary for Mr. Danny Bass
Mr. Danny Bass was born March 15, 1960 to the parentage of the late Willie and Elsie Bass in Granville County, North Carolina. He received his education in the Durham Public school system, and was a beloved repairman.
Later in life, he accepted the Lord as his savior and was baptized in Greensboro, NC. He enjoyed singing and was known for his humor, and quick witted remarks in any given situation.
Danny leaves to cherish his memory three brothers: Michael and Calvin Bass of Durham, NC, and Stacey Poole(Candace) of Sanford, NC; three siblings that preceded him in death: Gloria Jean Milligan, Derrick Bass, and Willie Bass, Jr. respectively; five aunts: Rachel and Jannie Cozart of Durham, NC; Maggie Fogg (John) and Cyrenia Bass of Butner, NC, and Doris Coger (Charles) of Winston-Salem, NC; two uncles: Johnny Cozart, Sr. (Edith) of Durham, NC and James Bass (Carolyn) of Raleigh, NC; and a very special and loving friend: Avis Hines.
Although he never had any children of his own, Danny’s legacy of fatherly love impacted many. His love and affection will be missed among those he reared in authentic excellence. In this spirit of excellence, he leaves behind five children: Seth and Shea Boone, Michael Key, Nehemiah and Shatondra Smith, and a host of grandchildren, relatives, and loving friends.
