Obituary for Clyde Lee Poole Jr.
Clyde L. Poole, Jr. was born in Durham, NC on April 1, 1963 to Clyde and Mary Poole. On Saturday, February 15, 2020, Clyde Lee Poole Jr., loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away at the age of 56.
Clyde attended Durham Public Schools. He had a vivacious personality and always-made people around him laugh. He made friends everywhere he went with his infectious smile and anointed voice. Clyde loved sports; he was at the top of his basketball team in high school. Clyde was a devoted member of Foundations of Truth in Raleigh NC.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Lee Poole, Sr. and Mary Sinclair; daughter, Carrie Watkins; and brother, Ronnie Sinclair.
He is survived his wife, Angela Green Poole whom he was married to for 33 years; daughters, Nettell Green, Clytina Hubbert, Chanell Ellerbee; sons, Terrell Green, Montrell Green, and Clyde Lee Poole III; sisters, Mary Cooper (Timmy) of Wilson NC, Sharita Richardson of Durham NC, Bonita Richardson of Durham NC; brother, Anthony Poole of Charlotte NC; brothers in Law, Anthony Green (Ella), Calvin Green (Rainey), and Wesley Green (Wendy); sisters in law, Teresa Jones (Vincent); 13 grandchildren, 2 Great God daughters, 1 God son, loving pet (Bella), and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
