Obituary for Charles Quellion "Jake" Webb Sr.
Mr. Charles Jake Webb Sr., born May 7, 1942 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Utah and Willie Webb, departed his walk of life on the evening of August 4, 2022. He was born and raised in Old North Durham, North Carolina, and was a longtime member of the Old North Durham Community Club.
He was united in holy matrimony to the late Patricia Ann Booth Webb and leaves behind two children: Sherron Denise Webb of Columbus, Georgia, and Charles Quellion Webb, Jr. of San Francisco, California. He also leaves behind two grandchildren, Christopher (Sarah) Webb of Orlando, Florida, and Jonathan Webb of Columbus, Georgia, and one great-grandchild, Aubree Webb, as well as over a hundred nieces, nephews, and grand- and great-grandnieces and nephews from his nine siblings.
“Uncle Jake”, as he was known by friends and family, was loved and spoken of highly by all for the life he led. He has been a brother, father, and uncle to many and he will be missed by all.
