Obituary for Mrs. Catherine G. Sanders
Catherine Green Sanders was born on April 9, 1932 in Durham County, to the late Mrs. Emily Murray and the late Mr. James Green, Sr. She gained her wings on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Carver Rehabilitation & Living Center.
She received her education in the Durham City Public School System. She worked as a Nurses Aid until her health declined.
Catherine is preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Marian I. Daye, Mildred Evans, Nellie Galloway,
son; Dennis Sanders, Sr., grandson; Deon Stanback and granddaughter; Dysheka Sanders.
She leaves to cherish her memory and mourn her loss, her daughters; Joycelyn Evans of the home, Claudia "Jean" Kirk (Justin) of Highpoint, NC and Sharyn Turner of Mebane, NC, sons; Lawrence Sanders, Jr. (Mable) of Durham, NC, Carlton "Bald" Sanders (Eunice) of Durham NC, Harold "Butch" Sanders of TX, one sister; Mary Holman of Durham, NC, one brother; James D Green, grand children; Adrienne Nelson, Gregory Evans, Tracie Jackson, Lisa Johnson, Crystal Sanders, Dennis Sanders, Jr., Shaun Sanders, Dominic Sander, Lyvon Garth, Jr., Calvin Sanders, Mario Kirk, Alana
Kirk, Rico Stanback, Kema Sanders, Kristin Sanders, Treyvon Alston, Moses Hillard, Lakecia Bobbitt, 28 great grand children, 20 great great grand children, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
