Obituary for Carese W Hedgepeth
Carese W. Hedgepeth born February 23, 1958 to the late Elbert Maurice Hedgepeth and Brenda Marie Parker Hedgepeth. She departed her life early Saturday morning on June 15, 2019 after a lengthy illness.
Carese was born the eldest of three children and first-born grandchild to the Parker family. Carese was known for her gentle charm and love of shopping and decorating.
Carese while living in North Carolina attended Durham Public Schools and completed her education in the Washington DC area when her family relocated in her teenage years. A 1976 graduate she was a “free spirit” and left her mark of beauty on everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two children, Terry Hedgepeth and Sierra Hedgepeth; her brother, Elbert “Pete” Hedgepeth; maternal grandparents, Vila and Sammie Parker; and Paternal grandparents, Estel and Hubert Hedgepeth.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving and devoted son, Naepoleon Karlrese Hedgepeth; brother, Herbert Stroughters; caring aunts, Janet P Gamble (Henry D.), Wanda P. Pettiford, Mildred P. Thorton, Otelia Bullock, aunt and friend Kathy P. Leathers (Don); paternal aunt, Frances Haris; many cousins and host of other family and relatives.
