Obituary

Beatrice Justice Hall was the youngest daughter of six children born to the late Lewis Edward Justice and Beatrice Tilley Justice on February 8, 1934 in Durham, North Carolina.
Beatrice was educated in Durham City Schools. After attending Hillside High School, she started her career as a nursing assistant. Beatrice’s calling was of a caring spirit and she loved to help others. She was employed with Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC as a Nursing Assistant for 30 years.
Beatrice spent many years attending service at Crown of Righteousness Church where she received Christ as her Lord and Savio There she enjoyed singing in the choir. Later she joined The New Calvary Baptist Church.
Beatrice possessed many endearing qualities such as; a great sense of humor that would make everyone smile, an infectious hearty presence that would illuminate a room. Beatrice’s favorite hobbies were working in her puzzle books and playing cards along with her family and friends that shared similar interests. She also took delight in the many trips to Northgate Mall, which afforded her the opportunity to fellowship and visit many friends she met along the way.
Beatrice is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; Lewis Justice, Sr., Bruce Justice and James Justice, and two sisters; Willie Lee Hill and Lillie Mae Palmore.
With all the love she had to give, she cherished her children, grandchildren and extended family members. This gave her much joy and fulfillment throughout her life. Those left to cherish Beatrice's fond and precious memory are two sons, Gerald Justice (Dorothy) and Barry Hall (Angela); a special daughter, Jackie Lemon; four grandchildren, Latasha Norwood, Morgan Payne, Sha’Quanda Lemon, and Shantale Hall; seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
