During the year, we at Ellis D. Jones & Sons Funeral Directors serve many families during their time of need. Each family has their own unique experience with grief. Each has touched us in their own way. 

We have planned our 29th Annual “In Loving Memory” Remembrance Ceremony to give you, your family members, and your friends a time to acknowledge your loss and honor your loved one in a special way. The program will be held on Sunday,  January  7th at 3:00 p.m. at Union Baptist Church, 904 N. Roxboro St. Durham, NC 27701.

At the Program, we will have a memorial candle that we will be lit in your loved ones' honor. For those that have had a loss October  2022 through November 2023 we have one complimentary dove ornament, made of glass, and bears the name, date of birth and date of death of your loved one. It also comes with a gift box for future safekeeping. 

Reservations for the program are necessary by January 3rd. 

If you plan to attend, please  RSVP at www.ellisdjones.com. We will need to know the name of your loved one, their date of birth, date of death, and the number of family members that will be attending. 

If your family members would like to order additional memorial ornaments, for a small fee ($25) please let us know. 

For those that have had a loss October 2022 through November 2023 we have one complimentary dove ornament.  Please provide your loved ones date of death.

We know how difficult the holidays can be after the loss of a loved one, and we sincerely hope that you can join us to celebrate their memory at our “In Loving Memory” Remembrance Program.
